An IBAN Number is an ‘International Bank Account Number’ which enables you to make international transactions, it helps overseas Banks identify your account. It doesn’t replace your Sort Code and Account Number, it’s an additional code.
A Swift Code/BIC (Bank Identifier Code) helps overseas Banks to identify the Bank your account is with.
Both numbers will be available in your Bank account details.
